My stay at the Shichahai Sandlwood Boutique Courtyard was simply magical. The beautifully designed room transported me to another era, with its traditional decor and exquisite cultural pieces. I especially loved the mini balcony in my room, which offered a perfect view of the picturesque courtyard. The hotel truly gave me the authentic noble Pekinger experience I was looking for. Despite a few minor hiccups during check-in, the interiors and room sizes were exceptional. The hotel even had a museum showcasing pieces that once belonged to the family, adding to the overall ambiance. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it. I had a wonderful time at this unique and charming retreat.

We loved being in the hutong district and exploring the local restaurants nearby. Additionally, our room was spacious, clean, and had great amenities, including good air-conditioning and a clean and spacious bathroom.
There were a few negative aspects during our stay. we were disappointed to find that the property listed air conditioning in the rooms, but it turned out to be a seasonal option and not available during our stay.
